A Bettendorf woman is making her second run for the Iowa legislature. Democrat Marie Gleason has announced she's running for a seat in the Iowa House from District 94 which includes Bettendorf, Riverdale, Panorama Park, and Pleasant Valley Township.
Her opponent will be Republican Gary Mohr from Bettendorf who's now serving his second term.
When she retired from John Deere, Gleason was a project manager in the Human Resources department, with past experience also in sales and marketing.
Two years ago, she ran against State Senator Roby Smith and lost 53 to 47 per cent.
