Everyone can see "French Moderns" at the Figge for free. Today, the art museum in Davenport announced no admission will be charged for the next two weeks, thanks to support from the Hunt and Diane Harris Family Foundation, Arconic, and Genesis Health System.
The exhibit opened in October. And Tim Schiffer, Executive Director of the Figge, says compared to last year, three times more people have visited the museum.
The 60 works of art are part of a traveling exhibit from the Brooklyn Museum in New York. Free admission and "French Moderns: Monet to Matisse, 1850-1950" will end on January 6th.
Schiffer says an upcoming exhibit featuring Tiffany glass will also be very popular.
