$400,000 has been raised by the Grow Quad Cities - Iowa Fund to help local businesses and property owners recover from the flood, mainly in downtown Davenport.
Officials announced Monday that $230,000 has been donated by the Downtown Davenport Partnership, and about $118,000 was raised through donations to Flood Fest by businesses in the community.
Davenport Mayor Frank Klipsch says the funds are there to help those who need it most.
"Davenport is here to protect all of our citizens, all of our businesses. We will have to do that in partnership, working with you as businesses, residents, and the city, coming together to make sure that you can not only reinvest, but continue to invest in the downtown area."
$50,000 dollars provided by the Quad Cities Community Foundation is also available to any businesses hurt by the flood in Scott and Rock Island counties.
Applications to receive funding are due by July 3rd to the Quad Cities Chamber, and the money will be distributed by July 31st.
