Illinois Congresswoman Tammy Duckworth stopped in Rock Island this afternoon to  campaign for US Senate. At a law office downtown, the Iraq War veteran from Hoffman Estates talked with women at a roundtable hosted by Congresswoman Cheri Bustos.

Duckworth says the women here are worried about the same things as others in Illinois.
She says her dad went to college on the GI bill, and her family relied on food stamps when she was in high school.

After the roundtable discussion, she left to visit the Rock Island Arsenal.
Duckworth is running for the democratic nomination, and the right to challenge republican incumbent Illinois US Senator, Mark Kirk.
