Dubuque's public transit, the Jule, is now requiring passengers to wear face coverings. The decision comes as coronavirus cases continue to rise.

Renee Tyler from the city's transportation services, says those who rely on public transit are usually more at risk for serious health complications.

"It's only logical that we ask our passengers, for their protection, to wear masks," she said. "Actually, we've had feedback from passengers thanking us for putting this new order to wear a mask while riding the Jule."

Tyler says that while the Jule is providing face masks to passengers who need them, most bus riders bring their own.
