Deere Classic Victory Brings Moore's Titles to 5

Ryan Moore won the John Deere Classic yesterday, picking up his fifth PGA Tour title. The  33-year-old shot a 4-under 67, beating Ben Martin by two strokes. Moore finished at 22-under for the tournament at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, playing the final 46 holes without a bogey.

Its his first victory since 2014, when he successfully defended his CIMB Classic title. Moore says he's always liked playing in the Quad Cities.

Despite the rain Thursday and Friday, Moore scored 65s the first three rounds.

Last year's champion, Jordan Spieth, decided not to defend his title, saying he didn't think it was appropriate since he decided not to play in the Olympics. Spieth was 19-years-old the first time he won at TPC Deere Run in 2014.

The PGA Tour changed the date for this year's Deere Classic because golf was added to the Olympics. Next year, it will be held July 13th through the 16th, right before the British Open.
