DeChambeau Talks Golf & Defending His Title

Sports reporters and golf fans were treated to breakfast and a bit of a "show" at TPC Deere Run. At this morning's John Deere Classic Media Day, defending champion Bryson DeChambeau discussed his scientific approach to playing golf.

DeChambeau also says he's happy to be associated with the local PGA Tour golf tournament, which is in its 48th year. The Deere classic is set to surpass $100 million in total charitable giving.

John Deere Classic Tournament Director, Clair Peterson

Director, Clair Peterson, says DeChambeau first played in the John Deere Classic after receiving a sponsor's exemption in 2015.

The John Deere Classic will be held July 12th through the 15th at TPC Deere Run in Silvis.

More than 1,700 volunteers make the tournament, and Birdies for Charity, possible.
