Bullock Will Campaign in Eastern Iowa

Bullock 2020
Montana Governor Steve Bullock

Two days after announcing his campaign for the Democratic nomination for president, Steve Bullock is coming to Iowa. The governor of Montana will visit eight counties, including several in the eastern part of the state, during his three day campaign trip.

Bullock is scheduled to arrive in Des Moines Thursday night, then on Friday visit Newton and Tama, followed by a 3 pm stop in Independence and a 6:30 pm meet-and-greet event in Dubuque at the Smokestack Restaurant.

Saturday morning, Bullock will meet with local residents at the Maquoketa library at 9 am, then travel to Clinton for an 11 am stop at the Gateway Area Community Center.

His campaign trip ends in Davenport at 2 pm with a meet-and-greet at 2 o'clock in the Village of East Davenport at the Baked Beer and Bread Company.

A native of Detroit, Herb Trix began his radio career as a country-western disc jockey in Roswell, New Mexico (“KRSY, your superkicker in the Pecos Valley”), in 1978. After a stint at an oldies station in Topeka, Kansas (imagine getting paid to play “Louie Louie” and “Great Balls of Fire”), he wormed his way into news, first in Topeka, and then in Freeport Illinois.
