Arrest for Davenport Fatal Shooting

A Davenport woman has been arrested for Sunday night's fatal shooting at a restaurant in Davenport. Monday afternoon, police announced 24 year old Treshonda Pollion is charged with first degree murder.

She's suspected of killing 29 year old Eloise Chairs, also of Davenport, inside the Chuck E. Cheese on East Kimberly Road. Chairs was wounded about 7:30 pm, then taken to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Pollion is being held in the Rock Island County Jail, without bond.

A native of Detroit, Herb Trix began his radio career as a country-western disc jockey in Roswell, New Mexico (“KRSY, your superkicker in the Pecos Valley”), in 1978. After a stint at an oldies station in Topeka, Kansas (imagine getting paid to play “Louie Louie” and “Great Balls of Fire”), he wormed his way into news, first in Topeka, and then in Freeport Illinois.
