An actress known for her role on the drama series "One Tree Hill" will campaign for Hillary Clinton in Davenport this weekend. Saturday, Sophia Bush will speak at two events in the Quad Cities, before heading to central Iowa.
At 11 am, she'll campaign at Saint Ambrose University, in the Rogalski Center. Then at noon, she'll appear at an Early Vote Canvass Kick-off event, at Clinton's campaign office on Brady Street in Davenport.
Along with her role on "One Tree Hill," Bush is known from the show, "Chicago P.D." A press release says she'll encourage Iowans to vote early for Clinton, and talk about Donald Trump's comments toward women.
After campaigning in Davenport Saturday, Bush will travel to Iowa City and Cedar Rapids, and then speak in Des Moines and Ames on Sunday.
