New English Language Center

Saint Ambrose University

A college in the Quad Cities is moving forward with a plan to attract more international students. Saint Ambrose University will open an English Language Center in January. Ryan Dye is the Director of International Education at Saint Ambrose. Not only will it boost enrollment, but it will also boost diversity on the campus.

Dye says currently, Saint Ambrose does not have a program for English as a second language. He says the center will have programs for students who don't speak English at all, as well as for English speakers who need a little extra help. The students will get more than just language lessons.
