The Missouri Valley Conference will host its women's championship in the Quad Cities for another two years. This afternoon at the TaxSlayer Center, the conference and its local partners announced the MVC President's Council has approved a two-year contract extension through 2021. 

A professional tennis player from the Quad Cities is once again in the running for a Grand Slam championship.

The St. Ambrose football team has high hopes for this season. The Fighting Bees want to improve after two straight 4-6 seasons. And they hope their promising, 50-man recruiting class will help them win their conference for the first time.

The new season begins in a few weeks for the Augustana College football team. The Vikings finished last season with a record of 1-9 overall, 1-7 in the CCIW.

St. Ambrose University wants to help e-Sports grow in the Quad Cities. The new team is preparing for its first season as a member of the National Association of Collegiate e-Sports.

The former coach of the Quad City Mallards didn't have to go far for his next job. Monday the Dubuque Fighting Saints hockey team announced the hiring of Phil Axtell to be an assistant coach.

What the John Deere Classic lacked in suspense, it more than made up for in history.

The John Deere Classic PGA tournament will get underway Thursday at TPC Deere Run in Silvis. 156 players will compete for 5.8 million dollars in prize money.

JD Classic Pro-Am is Next
