New City Administrator for Moline

Moline is preparing to hire a new city administrator. Friday afternoon Mayor Sangeetha Rayapati announced the city council on Tuesday will consider the hiring of Bogdan Vitas.

Most recently Vitas served at Town Manager for South Palm Beach and City Manager for Key West, Florida. He's also worked for local governments in Lake Zurich, Illinois, Lewiston, Maine, and Menasha, Wisconsin.

He's scheduled to start working in Moline on June 14th.

Vitas was selected from a list of candidates presented by Baker Tilly USA, a public sector executive recruitment firm based in St. Paul, Minnesota.
