A 60-year-old business in Clinton will close its doors this fall. Eastman House Furniture is one of the most well-known furniture stores in the area, due in large part to owner, Susan Richeson. The former New York City designer routinely attended furniture shows across the country to make sure her products were in vogue. She plans to retire after owning and managing the store for 25 years.

A Quad Cities woman is dedicating her life to raising money for homeless children in China. Carrie Paschke has begun selling hand-made furniture from Beijing, to raise money for the China Hope Foundation. WVIK's Sarah Ritter has the story.
