Since it was President's Day, the YMCA was filled with children, parents, adults, and seniors playing all kinds of sports and participating in activities such as Zumba in a new, group exercise studio.

CEO Mike Wennekamp says the building is nearly 50 years old, and its halls were getting very crowded as more people joined over the last several years. "Hunt and Diane Harris graciously volunteered to head up the campaign and raised $3.5 million when our goal was $3 million. The building is colorful and much more open with lots of natural light. The expansion features a two-story Kids Adventure Center. It's really a community treasure, if you will."In a large, carpeted room, rows of treadmills and other cardio machines are shown with windows behind them.
