A Wisconsin woman has been arrested for the death of a Moline man who overdosed on an opioid late last year.
Twenty-five-year-old Kayla Kundert, of Brooklyn, was arrested on Saturday by the Green County, Wisconsin Sheriff's Department.
On December 9th, Moline officers and firefighters responded to a call about a man who wasn't responsive at the Motel 6 on 52nd Avenue. They found 30-year-old Manuel Rico and took him to the hospital where he died. An autopsy shows the cause of death was a lethal dose of Fentanyl, an opioid.
Kundert faces a charge of Drug Induced Homicide. She is waiting for extradition with bond set at $100,000.
