When a publishing agent asked Morning Edition's David Greene to consider writing a book, the cohost and correspondent had no idea it would lead to his second trip on Russia's Trans-Siberian Railway. But the second time around, he took a good friend to help translate and no audio equipment.

On today's WVIK News Focus, a talk with David Greene about the trip and his new book, Midnight in Siberia.
