QC Chamber Announces Entrepreneur Bootcamp

People with a unique business idea will have the chance to get some honest feedback this fall. Today, the Quad Cities Chamber of Commerce announced its new Start-up Weekend program--a 54-hour bootcamp to teach entrepreneurs how to start a business.

Julie Forsythe, from the chamber, says the weekend is meant to give back to the Quad Cities community.

Startup Weekend is an international program in more than 700 cities, and founder of HiFit juice, Amadou Hanne, says the Quad Cities version will follow a similar format.

Entrepreneurs will then present their ideas to community leaders to receive feedback.

Start-up Weekend, a part of Global Entrepreneurship Week, will be held November 20th through the 22nd at the Advanced Technology Environmental Energy Center in downtown Davenport.

To register, you can go to QuadCities.up.co, and the program costs $75 per person.
