A republican candidate for Congress will campaign in the Quad Cities and nearby cities this weekend. Christopher Peters from Coralville is challenging incumbent Second District democrat Dave Loebsack.
Peters will hold meet and greet events on Saturday in Muscatine at 12:30 at the Pizza Ranch, at 3 pm in Dewitt at Hall of Fame Pizza and Wings, and at 7 in Clinton at Jenny's Diner.
Then on Sunday afternoon, his stops will include the Thunder Bay Grill in Davenport at 2:30, and then at 4:30, Peters will travel to Grille 3-50 in Eldridge.
