Scenes from Christian Care in Rock Island, IL

Community Outreach Coordinator, Steve Gottcent, says it's called, "Building a Bridge Back Home."

The goal is to continue to provide safe, stable housing along with resources to help people get jobs, deal with mental or emotional issues, and eventually move into their own apartment of house.

He says Christian Care needs financial partners to make sure the heat and lights are on when the meal site becomes a warming center, not to mention housing 36 men and preparing hundreds of meals seven days a week.
