The Quad City Mallards have joined forces with the newest team in the National Hockey League. Thursday the Mallards announced they've signed a multi-year affiliation agreement with the Las Vegas Golden Knights.
The Golden Knights are preparing to play their first season in the NHL.
The Mallards will be their affiliate in the ECHL, after working with the Minnesota Wild for the past four years.
The Mallards have also signed a similar affiliation agreement with the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League.
