Hayes Chosen for Davenport School Board

After interviewing seven candidates, the Davenport school board has chosen a new member. Wednesday  night, the board selected Linda Hayes to fill out the un-expired term of Bill Sherwood who died last month.
She will serve until the next election, in September.
 
Hayes is a graduate of Saint Ambrose University, and now studying for a masters degree in organizational leadership at Saint Ambrose.
She will be sworn in at next Monday's 
  meeting.
