Government Bridge will be closed for part of the weekend.
The Army Garrison says the bridge from Davenport to Arsenal Island will be closed to all vehicle and pedestrian traffic on Saturday and Sunday - from 7 am to 4 pm both days. Crews will use the time to wash the bridge.
Then on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, one lane will be closed on both the Rock Island Viaduct and the Moline Bridge, from 8:30 am until 2:30 pm each day.
In addition, the American Discovery Trail Bridge, alongside the viaduct, will be closed during the same hours on all three days.
