Bryson DeChambeau overcame a four-stroke deficit to win the John Deere Classic by a stroke on Sunday for his first PGA Tour title — and a spot next week in the British Open.
The 23-year-old says he's proud his first win game at TPC Deere Run.
"I've always loved the golf course -- the first time I saw it and then coming this year," he said. "I was really excited because I was hitting the ball really well and just needed a couple of putts to fall."
Bryson birdied four of the final six holes yesterday for a 6-under 65 and an 18-under 266 total.
