Cubs Trophy Tour Will Stop In The Quad Cities

Rachel Wisinski

President Barack Obama greeted the World Series champions Chicago Cubs at the White House Monday in his final ceremony for a championship sports team.

Cubs fans in the Quad Cities will get to celebrate the team's victory in two weeks when the World Series trophy makes its way to Davenport.

The trophy will be on display at the River Music Experience from noon to 1:30 on Monday, January 30. Later that evening, the trophy will be on display on the University of Iowa campus in Iowa City from 5 to 6:30. The trophy tour includes stops in Illinois, Iowa, Michigan and Indiana.

In October, the Cubs won their first World Series title since 1908 by defeating the Cleveland Indians.
